Problem

Users access: https://myapp.com Behind it you have ten servers. You don't want clients to know which server handles a request—or even that those servers exist.

Solution — Reverse Proxy

Clients connect to one public endpoint.

             ┌→ Server 1
Client → Proxy → Server 2
             └→ Server 3

The proxy receives requests and forwards them to internal servers.

Core idea: a reverse proxy represents backend servers to clients.
